Exclusive capability of integrating with continuous glucose monitoring technology

When used with the available glucose sensor and transmitter components, the MiniMed Paradigm 522 or 722 insulin pump displays on-screen continuous data to help you understand more about your glucose control.

• Displays updated glucose values every 5 minutes
  
• Displays 3-hour and 24-hour glucose trend graphs, as well as arrows that indicate how fast, and in what direction, glucose is moving
• Designed to alert patients to potentially dangerous low blood sugar and high blood sugar episodes by sounding an alarm or vibrating

Requires a minimum of 2 calibrations each day (1 every 12 hours). A confirmatory fingerstick using a standard blood glucose meter is required prior to making self-management or therapy decisions.

That way, no one but you knows it's there.

Adjustable active insulin curves

Active insulin curves selectable between 2 and 8 hours in duration. Defaults to 6 hours, which most closely represents the published scientific data. [1]
