My hobbies are painting, playing the piano and riding horses and I've also been playing football for six months now.

When I was first told I had diabetes, I had no idea what that meant. I'd never heard about it before and didn't understand what it would mean for me.
But then I came to terms with it.

My advice to you: Diabetes doesn't put limits on my life. You really can learn to live with it. That's what I would tell someone who has just been diagnosed with diabetes. If you learn how to deal with it properly, living with diabetes isn't complicated at all.
