With the Guardian REAL-Time System you can know much more! Not only will you always know what your glucose level is, you'll know which way it's heading, how fast it's moving there and, as you approach your glucose limits, you'll be warned to take action. Added confidence 24 hours a day, with 288 glucose readings a day to help you understand the impacts food, exercise and medication on your glucose levels. By itself, a fingerstick can only tell you what your glucose level is at that moment in time - in fact 60% of lows may not be revealed by fingersticks at all.

 
3 layers of warning for added confidence
You can use all the alerts to receive additional warning about oncoming lows and highs1:
  • Predictive Alerts to warn you 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or even 30 minutes before glucose limits have been reached.
  • Rate of Change Alerts to let you know when your glucose levels are changing - one arrow for movement and two for rapid change.
  • Low and High Alerts to tell you when you've reached the glucose limits you've set.

The GuardianTM REAL-Time System can go anywhere you go, no matter how active your lifestyle. The monitor is small, comfortable and easy to wear — on your belt, in your pocket, or under your clothing. The tiny glucose sensor is easy to insert and when connected to the MiniLink™ REAL-Time Transmitter14, is a small and discreet waterproof unit that sends your glucose data wirelessly to the monitor.
