SENSOR READINGS EVERY 5 MINUTES THAT'S 288 TIMES A DAY, SENT DIRECTLY TO YOUR COMPATIBLE MEDTRONIC INSULIN PUMP
The ability to check glucose levels using technology has helped many to make more informed decisions about their diabetes management. Whilst FLASH glucose monitoring alone may provide you an alert when you scan, it can't help protect you as it isn't able to communicate directly with your Medtronic insulin pump.
Using Medtronic's latest CGM system is different. It provides readings to your pump every 5 minutes (288 times a day) and can alert you to a high or low before they happen and without having to scan. What's more, our latest CGM system drives SmartGuard™, giving you not only the convenience of predictive alarms, but also helping you manage highs and lows. See below for more information on how SmartGuard™ works with our Minimed™ 640G and Minimed™ 670G systems.
